Small groups are a part of our vehicle for living and growing as whole life disciples. They are smaller, more intimate communities who meet all over Wigan in different spaces and homes to share stories, understand and develop in faith through prayer and study, eat together, and be on mission together. People at all stages of their spiritual journey join to understand and model what it means to live as followers of Christ in our everyday lives.
We know that to truly be able to engage with God and his mission, we need to be part of a community in which to be accepted and be challenged. We need to be able to not only understand through a passing on of information, but to imitate and innovate in the beauty of the adventure of life.
The small groups that meet are made up of a mixture of ages, life stages and backgrounds. If you want to become a part of a group, we would love to help you at one of our Sunday gatherings; see The Hub, which is our information point, and one of the team will gladly point you in the right direction. If you have questions or want to understand small groups more, don’t hesitate to drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
