Gathering together is an essential part of our week. We come together to celebrate, share stories, and welcome others who are visiting or guests. There is something powerful about meeting together and thanking God for all that he has done.
“What can I expect at your Gathering?”
At a Sunday Gathering you will find live music, a friendly and open atmosphere, good coffee and drinks at Postcode Coffee House (open before and after the Gathering), as well as a highly practical talk centred out of the Bible and the life of Jesus Christ. You may hear a story or two of how different individuals have experienced God’s grace in their journey of faith.
“Would I be welcome on a Sunday?”
At our gatherings people experience a great sense of community, find practical help for everyday life, create new friendships and gain space to honour God for all He has done. Our gatherings are designed so that anyone can feel comfortable when they come along. People from all walks of life attend our Gatherings, which we welcome and love.
You won’t be singled out or embarrassed because we want to make your experience with us the best we possibly can.
“What style of music do you have?”
We are a contemporary expression of Christian church so our music is vibrant, moving and declarative. We have a full band and singers who lead us during these times and the words are on the screen so you can sing along if you don’t know the songs. Our worship experience is very accessible and all are welcome to join with us in it.
“What time does it start and finish?”
Our Gathering starts promptly at 11am and runs until no later than 12:30pm. There is no need to sign in or out of the building, so you can walk straight in. Our coffee house, Postcode, opens at 10am and closes for the duration of the Gathering. Postcode reopens afterwards until 2pm.
“Is there something for my kids to do?”
Yes, in fact, we invest a huge amount of resource into growing the next generation. Head over to the Kids Church page to discover what to expect.
“Will your talks be relevant to me?”
Yes. Each week we bring something highly practical to everyday life. We take principles from the Bible and the powerful teachings of Jesus and apply them so we can live in freedom as God intended. The Leadership Team who speak regularly are down to earth and passionate in how they deliver teaching. To get a flavour of our talks, why not listen to one of our latest messages?
“How do I get there?”
Our Gathering is held at The Edge, which is close to Wigan town centre. It’s easy to get to and there’s lots of free parking on the campus. If you aren’t driving, The Edge is less than 10 minutes walk from Wigan Wallgate and Wigan North Western train stations and is situated along a popular bus route. Google local bus routes or train times for more specific information.
We’d love to know if you’re planning to visit us, and answer any questions you might have before you arrive! Fill out the form below if you have any particular things you wanted to ask or we can help you in some way.
